2011 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition, Feb. 20-24, 2011, Orlando

-Planning Tools and On-site Resources-
With 400-plus education sessions, over 900 exhibitors and a slew of networking opportunities and events at annual conference, it can be overwhelming for you as you plan your daily agendas for HIMSS11 and navigate the halls of the convention center on-site. HIMSS offers the following tools and resources to make your annual conference experience more manageable: HIMSS11 Mobile website, MyHIMSS11, Online Buyer’s Guide, Exhibitor Events Portal and more. Read more at http://bit.ly/fqqqXM .

-Registration-
Registration for HIMSS11 is open online and remains open throughout conference. HIMSS11 registration includes entrance to the core educational program, exhibition, opening reception on Sunday, Feb. 20, and registration tote bag materials (while supplies last). Self-service registration kiosks will also be available for attendees to register for conference and optional events on-site; however, registrants can modify their registration online at anytime. Register at http://bit.ly/bz4uc3 .

-Badges-
Pre-registered attendees (registered by Jan. 24), who selected to receive their badges by mail, began receiving badges approximately two weeks ago. Please remember to bring the badge to conference: On-site badge reprints cost $50. Attendees and exhibitors, who chose not to receive their registration packets in the mail can print badges and tickets with the barcodes from their printed registration confirmations at express/self-registration kiosks located at several registration areas at the Orange County Convention Center. Badges and tickets may also be printed on-site at the following hotels: Peabody Orlando, Rosen Centre Hotel, Rosen Plaza Hotel and Rosen Shingle Creek; however, no new registrations will be processed at these hotel locations.

-Navigating OCCC-
Attend one of the first-time attendee orientations held on Sunday, Feb. 20, in room 206BC from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and Monday, Feb. 21, in room 206BC from 10 am to 11 am. Additionally, use the On-Site Navigational System Kiosks located in over 30 areas of the convention center for attendees’ convenience in locating exhibiting companies by name, product or service; education and exhibitor solution sessions; convention center amenities; networking events, Orlando highlights and more. Through a single search, the navigation system locates and displays the best possible route for attendees to find their destinations–just like GPS navigational systems. Additionally, convention center floor and exhibition maps are also included in the HIMSS11 Pocket, Resource and Exhibitor Guides on-site.

-Social Media-
Engage with HIMSS and make connections before and during conference through Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Foursquare and YouTube. Visit http://bit.ly/gs1OMg to learn more, and start engaging with HIMSS and attendees today.
