Anyone heard of these little computer keyboard vacuums from Brosscar.com? They are pretty cool, but… isn’t easier just to get a sealed, washable keyboard? I think so. Then, you just wipe it down as often as you like with antibacterial cleaner. I got one at Wetkeys.com and it rocks!

I recently purchased my wireless washable keyboard from Wetkeys.com. With the latest news from the CDC, Bloomberg, and Harvard regarding a potential Swine Flu outbreak in the U.S. this coming Fall, I want to be as prepared as possible.

Shared computer keyboards are apparently a great place for harmful germs and bacteria to fester and spread to others. With my cleanable keyboard, it easily remains a sanitary keyboard. I wash it every day and it looks brand new every time. Don’t take any chances, treat yourself to this healthy gift today!

Under the rubric of “Infection Control Guidelines” on the CDC website 4 out of 13 of the guidleines would be directly impacted with the use of a washable keyboard, and the other 9 indirectly impacted.

With concerns of hand hygiene, disease transmission, health care staff protection, and general maintenance of a sterile, sanitary environment being key points in minimizing the spread of disease, a cleanable keyboard is a critical part component. Don’t take my word for it. Check out the research in the American Journal of Infection Control; it’s important. Protect yourself and your family and buy one of these for yourself. I got my low price, high quality washable keyboard at www.wetkeys.com.

Swine Flu is Coming, Are You Prepared?

Author: HospNurse  July 10, 2009

Latest reports from Boomberg News and CNN report the rise of Swine Flu Cases around the world. We are no exception. When Winter hits and runny noses, coughs and sneezes increase, so will your chance of catching H1N1 or a host of other germs.

Don’t risk it. Prepare yourself at every level. That includes a washable full size keyboard that is both low in price and high in quality. This product is a washable keyboard that easily remains a sanitary keyboard. It’s a cleanable keyboard.

As the Swine Flu made international news, health organizations, such as the CDC,  are continuously emphasizing the importance of hygiene and cleansingHand washing has become the single most important means to prevent the spread of infection.  Hand sanitizer and antimicrobial wipes have been strongly recommended to be used in place of or in addition to hand washing.

Health and hygiene are also very important to us at WETKEYS.com.  Washable keyboards can be fully-submerged in liquids such as antimicrobial solution and soap and water.  Along with washing your hands,  get a washable keyboard for ultimate protection against the spread of germs and illnesses.

Washing Keyboard

You use your keyboard all day; you wash your hands, and then use your keyboard again…where are the germs?

Many reports from the CDC, The WHO, and other news agencies suggest that washing your hands regularly and wiping your keyboards are adequate prevention measures.  However, wiping a keyboard does not eliminate all flu viruses and bacteria.  Since a keyboard and mouse are things you touch all day, a washable and sanitary keyboard and mouse are essential to staying healthy.

As you know, frequently washing your hands is important in reducing the spread of illness.  However, washed hands become completely ineffective if they return to touching the same contaminated objects, like your keyboard and mouse. Our washable keyboards can be easily cleaned in the sink just as a kitchen utensil and are an inexpensive solution to this problem.

WETKEYS offers the largest selection of washable, sanitary and easy to disinfect keyboards and computer mice.  Wash your hands AND your keyboard – and Stay Healthy!  WETKEYS products are Your Key to Good Health

Health and safety represent the WETKEYS mission. We take an urgent public health emergency like the Swine Flu outbreak very seriously. As Swine Influenza continues to spread and the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) work quickly to provide recommendations for Swine Flu Prevention, WETKEYS strongly recommends washing your keyboard and mouse when you wash your hands.

Reports from WHO, the CDC and international medical experts confirm that the path of transmission for swine influenza includes contact surfaces. Dr. Richard Besser, acting head for the CDC, says that as a preventive measure, “I would rather people really focus on hand washing.” In addition, the CDC recommends that people try not to touch surfaces that may be contaminated by the flu virus.

All shared computers are a potential health hazard, particularly if an individual with flu symptoms uses the keyboard and mouse. Washing with hot soapy water or using chemical disinfecting spray may be sufficient to eliminate the threat posed by the swine flu virus on data entry surfaces.

To help keep you safe and healthy, WETKEYS offers the largest selection of washable, sanitary and easy to disinfect keyboards and computer mice – the things you touch all day. WETKEYS products are Your Key to Good Health
