I work in a laboratory where multiple people use the same computer keyboards. I recently read some research suggesting shared keyboards are breeding grounds for lots of diseases.

With recent news from Bloomberg regarding the increasing cases of the H1N1 virus, it is important to maintain a sanitary environment in my laboratory. To do this, I have placed hand sanitizing liquid at multiple locations in my office. I have also purchased washable full size keyboards that are low cost, high quality, cleanable keyboards. These are sanitary keyboards that improve my ability to combat the transmission of disease.

Keep Your Body Fluids to Yourself!!!

Heard the latest news about the H1N1 virus on Bloomberg and CNN? It’s spread by human contact and body fluids. Seems like minimizing any chances of coming into contact with someone else’s body fluid is a good idea. That means hand sanitizers over doorknobs and strict enforcement of hand washing.

Along this same line of thinking I also recommend the washable full size computer keyboard. This is a sanitary keyboard that’s a washable keyboard. With this item shared keyboards are easily cleaned and keep germ sharing way down.

International governments spending hundreds of millions of dollars to protect their citizens in the event of a sharp rise in H1N1 Swine Flu. Proper hygiene includes frequent hand washing and using a washable keyboard and mouse that can be easily disinfected to reduce the chance contracting the virus.

I don’t know about anyone else but my main priority is keeping my family safe. Now I hear on Bloomberg News that H1N1 virus is on the rise in England and I think “how can I best protect my family when that happens here?”

One thing I can definitely do is keep our living space as sanitary as possible. To maintain a clean home environment, I use disinfectants and clean regularly. But staying clean is also about having few places that germs can hide. That’s why I purchased the washable full size keyboard for each member of my family. This is a washable keyboard that’s a   sanitary keyboard. It gives me a little more peace of mind when I think of my family’s health and safety.

Bloomberg reported the vaccine being developed to combat a pandemic of swine flu will require multiple shots to provide immunity from the new virus. Because swine flu is a new virus, most people have no natural immunity. This new infectious disease is not going away,” said Anne Schuchat, director of the CDC’s Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases; scientists have used laboratory tests to confirm 27,715 cases of swine flu in the U.S.
